Project Details

Palli Chetana’s Humanitarian Response Program supports vulnerable communities in the coastal district of Satkhira affected by cyclones, tidal surges, flooding, water logging, and other disasters. The program focuses on emergency assistance, disaster preparedness, shelter and housing support, safe water, sanitation, and community resilience. Palli Chetana works with local communities and relevant stakeholders to provide timely support and help affected families recover their livelihoods and rebuild safer, more resilient lives. Its documented activities include disaster-emergency relief and rehabilitation support, medical support, volunteer training, housing-material support, rainwater harvesting, sanitary facilities, and safe drinking-water interventions.
